On the playing side of my career I have had a very successful time playing under Raghuveer Singh and Dhiraj Singh. Raghuveer Singh was also my instructor as I was the first apprentice bagpipe maker Raghuveer Singh.
Finishing my apprenticeship after 5 years I then completed 2 years service as a piper with the Gurmeil Singh, returning to Kings Bagpiper Band for a further 9 years.
In 1967 I with my family left Uttrakhand in a move to Jaipur where I joined the company of Kings Band later to become Kings Bagpiper Band.
