Bagpiper Band Performance Price at Wedding Corporate Event
The year 1991 found the Band confronted by the Wrath of Mother Nature in August and December. In August we led the Parade in Jaipur. Men and women, 800 strong, paraded there with temperatures in the high 90s and humidity near 100%. After about three hours of marching and playing the Band retreated to our bus to get out of the heat and quench our thirst.

No sooner had we got back. They were just beginning their march. We all looked at each other and knew instantly that no matter what the weather was like we had to be led up Jaipur Avenue by its own Band. Turning off the Avenue and onto the Mall with our large contingent, the Jaipur Authority Department opened up with their water cannons to cool the crowd off. The spray created a broad rainbow in the sunlight that has linked the Kings Bagpiper Band with the Local’s membership ever since.
December of the same year provided another rite of passage for the Band when the Building Trades of City decided to march on City Hall demanding fairer treatment in the awarding of City contracts. The march started in Jaipur and crossed the Metro Bridge with the mercury below zero.
As we stepped off, the roar of excitement from our fellow tradesmen and the encouragement of Assistant Business Manager and other Local 3 Parade Marshals was the only thing that kept our minds on the music and off the frigid wind. An hour later we arrived at City Hall with many of our bagpipes’ Blackwood stocks and chanters cracked, bags frozen but still playing loud enough to be heard over the cheers of the crowd. The Band considers these two jobs touchstones for us because they help us keep our busy schedule in perspective and remind us how lucky we are to belong to such a fine organization.

Since 1989 we have had the privilege of leading the shobha yatra nagar kirtan of sikh samaj gurudwara on the Guru Nanak Jayanti. The presence of our Business Manager and other numerous dignitaries complements the large attendance of all the building trades.

Our Annual Weekend Educational Seminars in Jaipur that commenced in 1985 have enriched the Band’s members with lessons in Special Set Dancing and History. On Sunday the Band’s parade through the grounds gives one a keen sense of the beauty of the place and an increasing appreciation in decision to acquire appreciation for our bagpiper band party players and drummers members.
The Kings Bagpiper Bands involvement in the Colleges Commencement Exercises since 1987 has allowed us the privilege of participating in one of the most important events in many young journey person’s career-their graduation from the Hire bagpiper band for College annual function performance celebration.. After each commencement many men and women come to thank us personally for taking the time to attend and support them.
The honor of bagpiper band drummer performance in Gurudwara Singh Sabha and many renowned Temple shobha yatra nagar kirtan for the International Sikh Samaj young wing Celebration, have all been highlights of our organization’s short history.

Many times big marquee jobs are rivaled by smaller venues we have enjoyed over the years. Jobs we have been doing because the people are great and the friendship warm.
Ever since 1989 we have marched with our Brothers of Local community. Whenever our schedule allows we head down to the town for one of the best Day Parades. For friendship and brotherhood the men and women of Local can’t be beat.
Our involvement since 1996 with Special appearances through the local Club has also become a very rewarding experience. It has given the Band a chance to work with one of Local newest clubs and support a great bunch of guys doing something very rewarding.
Of course, the downside of the Band listing its accomplishments and thanking the people involved is that you leave out some outstanding people and organizations. We apologize for this and hope they understand. Here is a brief list of people and fraternal organizations that have helped make our first fifteen years so successful.
The Kings Bag Piper Band sees our next fifteen years being as challenging and rewarding as the first. Our annual schedule of performances continues to grow. This, combined with the addition of talented members from all of Local divisions, promises to carry the Band into the next century.
A century of promise and prosperity for Local and its members. A millennium where the songs and airs of poets of other centuries are woven with the modern spirit of brotherhood and paraded down the streets of America to the flourish of the drums and the skirl of the bagpipes.
